Question: Can you play an NTSC-J version of an Xbox 360 game on an American Xbox?

no I'm pretty sure you won't be able to play it, since it's region locked and you will only be able to play it on Japanese xbox. I would call up the xbox 360 support hotline just to be 100%. If you call them they are very responsive to answer questions and don't make you wait long before you get a live person on the line to help answer this question, but so far from what I've read they say no it wont work
