My Xbox 360 Controller wont charge?
Recently my xbox 360 controller just wouldnt charge one day my charger just stopped charging it and the lights rotated giving me the sign its running low after a while it would just cut out. Now sometimes when I put it in a certain position and dont move it it will work so I thought it was my charger I then bought another charger it came with 2 battery packs and that didnt charge my controller either so in total here is the things ive done...Cleaning where I plug it in
Checking its plugged in properly
Buying a new charger and battery packs
plugging it into my computer ( I did this with my ps3 controller)
I also turned my controller off and left my 360 on for 6 hours to see if it would charge, but it still didnt. so the only thing I can think of is that I need a new controller do you think I do or have I missed something?

COUPLE QUESTIONS:
1.) Should I sell my Xbox 360 on Ebay, Amazon or Craigslist? Haven't had much luck with Craigslist at the moment....but I'm not familiar with being an Amazon seller or Ebay seller. Any experienced users opinions would be appreciated.
2.) What is a good price range to ask for? I was thinking $290-300 for everything...Or $220 for all the 360 stuff. Too low? Too High?
3.) I've been reading conflicting articles about Gamestop not taking regular Xbox consoles or games anymore...Do they or do they not still take original Xbox consoles/games? I ask because I was only trying to get about 70-80 bucks for all the Xbox (original) stuff or close to it.

I am having a hard time doing this. The XBOX website sais this:1.Press and hold the Guide button on the controller until the controller and the console turn on.
When the console and controller are both off. I hold the button that makes the controller turn on for about 5-10 seconds. And the xbox doesn't turn on. It turns on when i press the button on the xbox, but the controller doesn't turn it on.
