Question #6:

Is buying a 4GB Xbox Slim worth the money?

Hi all, laser is busted on current 360 so need to fork out the money for a new one. A 4GB Slim at Gamestation is £150, but I could just buy a preowned core system for £60, or an preowned elite for £100. I have around 3.2GB left on my 360, and I was wondering if I can transfer my gamertag and game history onto whatever new 360 I end up buying. I can still delete memory and make space as I can still turn on my 360, just not able to play any games.

I'm torn between the memory of the elite (although I don't even know why I would need that much memory) and the slim. I mean, does the slim justify the price tag for what you get, only 4GB seems like it won't last long to me as I purchase many games. Can anyone help me out? Much appreciated.

Question #7:

Question #8:

What is the pricing for PlayStation Move and Xbox Kinect going to be?

I want to sell my Wii but my sister cries because she wants me to keep it because she likes the motion sensor games. I told her that Xbox 360 and PS3 are going to have motion sensing type features coming up for additional purchase. I have both systems but which will cost less? PS3 Move, or Xbox 360 Kinect? Let me know how much. Thanks!

Question #9:

Should I get the Xbox 360 250GB or Nintendo 3DS?

This is a tough decision for me, and even though money is not a problem, I'd rather NOT spend it on both consoles. Though I do tend to favour portable systems, I already have an iPod Touch. However, I can't help but get excited at the prospect of the Nintendo 3DS (I also already have the ORIGINAL DS). As for the Xbox 360, I do have a Wii, but I have had a change of interest in games. I have a PS2 as well, but I planned on replacing it anyways. I am not sure which device I would use more, and some might say that I don't even need anymore electronics, but if it were up to you, should I get the Xbox 360 250GB now or wait for the Nintendo 3DS that comes out in five months?

PS- I didn't know where else I should have put this question so I put it in the Xbox section.

Question #13:

What games might I like for the xbox 360 or the ps3?

I've decided to buy either a ps3 or a 360 but haven't decided which yet because I don't even know what games I'd be buying. All my life I only ever had Nintendo systems because that's what my brother wanted and because he's the one that into games, that would be what we went by. All I can really tell you about my taste in games is that it seems like I like RPGs because I played a lot of Fire Emblem and Final Fantasy. I don't even know where to start looking. Any suggestions?

Question #14:

Is Sony going to do PS3 banwaves? (Ban gamers playing backups)?

Well, now that is possible to play backups on PS3, would it be considerable to think in future Sony is going to do as Microsoft did on Xbox 360?

That is, banning all gamers which pirated the system to play with no charge.

I'm not risking my PS3 getting banned, the games are fairly cheap online and the best thing is, online gaming is free on PS3.

Question #16:

Setting Up Multiple Video Game Systems?

I have a:
SNES
xbox 360 and
Gamecube

I need an easier way to set them up to one tv, without switching the cables. But I also need a way to minimize cords going everywhere. Because I'd rather not catch fire to my house due to my xbox power box or gamecube power box over heating or something.

Anything I can get AT BESTBUY to not have to switch tv cables whenever I want to use a different system?
And any tips or tricks on how to keep cords from being a mess?
I'm currently using a power strip, and everything fits on it. It's just the Audio Video cords that I have to change out all the time.

Question #18:

Xbox 360 randomly not detect my usb?

Today when I plugged in my USB to my system I found that when I went to my video playlist, there was nothing under portable devices. I then tried another USB which also didn't work. Both worked when I plugged them into my computer. Keep in mind that these two both worked yesterday so it doesn't have anything to do with reformatting them for the 360... Does anyone have any ideas?

Question #19:

Which fighting game is better overall? Tekken? Or Dead or Alive?

Greetings all fighting game fans, fellow members and guests to the videogame society! :-)Tekken and DOA have long been in competetion with each other (Or more like DOA being in competetion with Tekken, while Namco seemed indifferent about the whole thing.) They are both very popular games. Tekken and Dead or Alive both have extremely great graphics, almost to the point of being realistic.
My fellow fighting game fans, which of these fighting games are better? Tekken or DOA?
Lets take all of these into consideration:
+ means pros
- means cons

Tekken
+ Awesome graphics system
+Recently became availible for the PSP and XBOX 360 consoles as of Tekken 6
+ 40+ unique and somewhat well developed characters with long moves lists, individualized strengths and weaknesses, counters and movement.
+ A decent storyline... FOR A FIGHTING GAME???
+ Awesome and some memetic soundtracks
+Some cool (and funny) endings sequences
+ Insane customization options
+ Cool game modes and side quests (i.e. Devil Within, Tekken Force and Scenario Campaign.)
- The game is occassionally overlooked by players who perfer simpler fighting games (i.e. Street Fighter)
- The characters are easy to use but extremely hard to master
- Small (but not significant) environmental background stage glitches
- Can be unreasonably difficult even on the easiest difficulty. Not noob friendly.
- Some character endings were senseless and/or slightly confusing
- Death by Degrees didn't help the series

Dead or Alive
+ Smooth, Incredible and Crisp graphics system, mainly on high quality
+ Lengthy and easy to use characters with smooth animation
+ Players can utilize the environment for their advantage, multi-tiered stages (You can knock other characters into different backgrounds or possibly different stages.)
+ Some vibrant character designs and customes
+ Decent counter system
+ Impressive soundtrack
- Famous moreso for the jiggle physics rather than the game itself. Boobs is not going to impress any real fighting game fan...
- Extreme Volley Ball games does not help the series as a fighting game at all.
- The storyline is virtually incomprehensible compared to Tekken
- Some cutscenes and endings were... strange. (Mermaids?! Two women fighting each other over lettuce? Lei Fang getting groped by older man? Come on, guys! There were like... three out of all endings that I could even tolerate.)
- Many of the characters are bland or underdeveloped(in terms of personality.)
- Decievingly simplistic rock- paper- scissor esque gameplay (Counter, Throws and Attacks)
- Difficulty curves will get ridiculous. In fact the series just recently had a very bad SNK boss

That's Tekken and DOA in a nutshell. Now having said that before your guys take your pick, I would to give warnings out to fans:
Tekken fans:
= Don't use Devil Gene, Ogre or Jinpachi as an excuse. All of the characters on the series are CLEARLY able to combat against these type of characters and it had been proven in many endings, cutscenes and trailers. Also keep in mind that there are characters from the DOA series like Tengu and Omega which are almost equivalent to a few of the boss characters from the Tekken series (in their own way.)
= Don't use strength, ouch factors and speed as an example. This ISN'T Dragon Ball Z.
= Don't compare Tekken girls with DOA girls. Compare ALL characters (The irony is that recently Tekken now has more attractive females than DOA does!)
= Lastly, don't say that any of the characters from either series are weak or slow. ALL CHARACTERS FROM BOTH OF THE SERIES HAVE STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES! IT'S A MATTER OF GAMEPLAY!!!! NOT THE CHARACTERS ABILITIES!! Tekken's gameplay is based on realistic and focused technical and aggresive gameplay. DOA's gameplay is based on fast-paced, hardcore and easy to learn gameplay.
Now DOA fans:
= Don't use Ryu (The Ninja Gaiden character) as an excuse and say: "OMG u r wrong ryu destroys tekken cuz hez kewl..." or something like that. The truth is that Ryu is powerful ninja... period. But, he cannot face the entire Tekken cast alone. Many fans also overlook that there is always Yoshimistu and Raven who are virtually equivalent to Ryu. Yoshimitsu is capable of pulling the same tricks as Ryu (See his Tekken 4, 5 and 6 endings.) and Raven is no different.
= ... Dead or Alive fans... BOOBS IS NOT GOING TO SOLVE ANYTHING. This was proven many time!
= Try to pretend that the volleyball series doesn't even exist
= Once again... This is not Dragon Ball Z.
= Again DOA fans... same goes for Tekken fans. All of the characters from BOTH of the series have their own strengths and weaknesses. DOA characters are NOT faster than Tekken characters. The gameplay is faster but not specically the characters. It's a matter of GAMEPLAY and STORYLINE segregation!

I personally prefer Tekken but I am trying not to base this on opinion and use facts
